Field Geologist (1977–1979):

Worked in North Iraq (Mosul, Goware, Aksi, Qalaq, Tikrit, Tuzkhurmatu, Tazakhurmatu, Serseng) and Mesopotamian plain (Kut, Amara, Al-Qurna, Al-Basrah, Faw).

1979–1989: Soldier in Iraq-Iran War.

1989–1991: Field Geologist in site selection for Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in Iraq (Tikrit, Baiji, Sammara).

1991–1993: Member in Compilation group for geological map of Iraq (scale 1:250,000).

1993–2003: Engineering geological works in Tikrit, Thirthar Lake, Fatha regions, Najaf, Salman, Rutba, Akashat, Al-Qaim regions for marble substitute works, and railway aggregates.

Preparation of 4 Geological Maps of Iraq (scale 1:250,000).

Compilation of Geological Maps of Iraq (scale 1:250,000): 8 maps out of 36 covering ~15,000 km² within Western Iraq.

Documented Reports: 40 geological reports archived in GEOSURV Library.

Planning & Training: Responsible for planning all survey projects in Iraq and training geologists since 2006, including Kurdistan territory.
